The Steam Next Fest is just around the corner.
After finishing the level design for the Mining World, I took a short break and then began preparing for the event.
The old main art was created quite some time ago, so I decided to make a new one that includes the latest game elements.
At first, I considered completely redesigning everything, including the composition,
but since it was hard to surpass the current result, I decided to enhance the art while keeping the existing vibe
This task wasn't high priority, but I added some new sprites so that I could showcase the recent worlds I've been working on during the Next Fest.
Since the background work for the levels I've recently worked on hasn't been done yet, I didn't want to show a sparse and empty visual to the people coming in through Next Fest.
Since it's a puzzle game, I can't reveal too much without spoiling things. Therefore, I don't think streaming the development version in its entirety is feasible.
Additionally, as a non-English-speaking solo developer, preparing a stream has been challenging for me.
Instead, I’ve decided to satisfy myself by repeatedly streaming footage of me completing a few levels from the development version.
