HexHavoc - Update 2.2: Shield Power-Up & New Enemy Types!
Hey HexHavoc players! 🚀 We’re back with Update 1.2, bringing you an exciting new power-up, smarter enemies, and improved gameplay balance. Let’s dive into the changes:
🆕 What’s New:
1. Hex Shield Power-Up
- Introducing the Shield Power-Up! 🛡️
- When activated, the shield forms a glowing hexagon around the player, destroying any enemy it touches.
- Shield lasts for a limited time, so use it wisely!
2. New Enemy Types
- Splitter Enemy: Splits into two smaller enemies upon destruction, increasing the challenge!
- Chaser Enemy: Becomes more aggressive and faster as your score increases.
3. Improved Power-Up System
- All power-ups now have clearly defined durations and visual effects to help you track their status.
- Power-ups include Speed Boost, Resource Surge, Enemy Freeze, Score Multiplier, and Shield.
⚙️ Bug Fixes & Optimizations:
- Improved enemy collision detection and movement logic.
- Fixed an issue where power-ups would sometimes disappear too quickly.
- Optimized particle effects for better performance.
