Hey everyone,
I hope you’re all doing well! Today, I’ve released a new update that focuses heavily on your feedback and enhances the overall upgrade experience.
Here’s a brief overview of what to expect from this update:
- I’ve revised the upgrade tiers, taken all of them into account, and created a whole bunch more (though not all have been added yet).
- Some upgrades now add to the scene rather than removing elements.
- Based on feedback, I’ve temporarily removed the multi-clicker option due to reported bugs and mixed reception. The code has been commented out for now, but I may revisit this feature in the future.
- I’ve introduced beautification tiers (apologies for the lack of icons; I’ll create new ones for a future patch). These tiers allow you to enhance the shop’s walls, floors, and add decorations. Some upgrades now also add decorations to the shop, which I feel enhances the overall experience.
- Hazlef, the NPC who assists you, no longer takes your place. Instead, he now works alongside you. You can upgrade him six times, with each upgrade slightly reducing his hammering time. I plan to expand on this further.
- I’ve added additional jobs, making them available from the start of the game as a first-tier feature.
- Many of you mentioned that the music was too loud, so I’ve temporarily lowered the volume. I plan to add a mute button for WebGL and a sound option in the settings for Windows.
During testing, I identified a few issues:
- Visually, the bunk bed is floating above the floor, which I’ll fix in the next patch.
- Ricker’s bed looks a bit odd, so I’ll adjust the model.
- I’ll double-check the wall upgrades, as not all seem to be working correctly—I may have missed something there.
I hope you enjoy the update! I’m committed to further improvements and feel the game is in a good place right now.
