New Power ups, Tutorial and Animations
New Power Ups:
- Added "Pace" gameplay mechanic, which shorten's all wait times, and increases ball speed.
- Added "Invulnerable" to damage for a duration.
- Added Healing.
Added a Tutorial:
- Enhanced the Round 1-2 tutorial levels for a smoother learning experience.
- Added animations to show the spinner loading the deck.
- Clarify key gameplay mechanics, including:
- Filling the spinner.
- Completing a round by reaching the target score.
- Lighting up both targets to spin for a random power-up.
- The importance of power-ups for scoring points.
- Forced the player to take a Boba power-up in Round 1 to introduce the concept of power-ups and synergies.
Gameplay Changes:
- Deck Viewer Clarification: Updated the deck viewer text to explain that:
- Power-ups are unloaded when triggered.
- Power-ups are reloaded after all have been triggered.
- Round Progression: The score target now increases each round. A message has been added to encourage players to collect stronger power-ups to keep up with the increasing difficulty.
- Power-Up Upgrades:
- Forced the player to upgrade a power-up for the first time to teach the upgrade mechanic.
- Added text explaining that permanently upgrading a power-up helps score more points.
- Added text explaining that permanently removing weaker power-ups increases the draw frequency of stronger ones.
Bug Fixes:
- Fixed an issue where the raccoon would sometimes not spin again.
- Fixed an issue where the "reloading spinner" voice line was not playing.
- Fixed a bug where starting a new run after a game over was broken.
- Addressed an issue where the target sometimes wouldn't light up correctly.
