Somewhat small update addressing some of the feedback received.
Here are the some changes:
- normal assault rifle does not stop you character while fire anymore. Shotgun still does it though.
- Shotgun was too strong. Now its projectiles fade after short while making it somewhat close ranged weapon.
- added and changed some sound effects
- Updated Start menu music to fit more with the game.
- Boss 3 did not play death animation. Also its shockwave attack did not put a visible effect indicator on player character showing he is stunned.
Also added new stuff:
- 2 new weapons
- Chainsaw. Melee weapon with high dps. To balance the challenge using this weapon player will also heal a little for each successful attack
- Plasma cannon. Can be charged by holding fire button for extra strong attack. Will release weaker attack if not fully charged
- dashing and rolling now has ghosting effects. Same goes for some bosses.
- New ability - Hover. Hold Jump to hover in the air for short while. This ability is only active vs Boss 4.
- added trailing effect to most projectiles
What is next:
We plan to add a few more weapons later on. And there are more issues we have to address about bosses from feedback received like making enemy attacks better telegraphed.
