Playing with mana alone, no more realms cards on board

Realms card

So about the realms and extra deck for those land-like cards.

I started a topic on Distraction Makers discord and after some playtesting,  i think that realms at the board are unnecessary step in digital only game that im creating and i was looking for a way to get rid of them. So one of the ideas that i thought to myself, what if the decision about which mana the "realm" produces could not be asked each time. First idea was to - just make auto tap. So I've done it, but then, people asked, why is the mana showing on board and not in UI :D.

Conclusion

So the 2nd iteration i asked the same question and this time... What if the question about what mana do want to from realms was whenever realms card was revealed from the top of the realms deck. For example hearstone has a card that gives you a mana crystal. So what if we could fill the deck with special cards like this, but with mana flavour? Like:

  • gain an empty light mana or gain an empty dark mana (slow realms).
  • gain an light mana (basic realms)
  • and other variations and maybe even some of the mana or next card in the realms deck?

Current

So the choices are not here yet, but i did add auto color mana thats coming from the extra deck. (And fixed some gamebreaking issues). 

With next update i will try making a two colored version of started deck with 2 new dual realms. It should ask a current player at traversing phase (start turn) which choice would he pick (example: gain an empty light mana or gain an empty dark mana (slow realms).
