Feb 3rd - 7th
On Feb 5th we presented our game design to a group of industry professionals to receive feedback on our progress so far. Some feedback we received:
- Hammer out moment-to-moment game play - Decide on how much time and effort should be spent on developing the task "mini-games"
- Make the faces more scary - Perhaps consider having more emotional cues, such as the in game character reactions to the faces to guide the player on mood
- Some accessibility concerns - figure out how the faces will look in the evening phase when the rooms are darker, and how visible they will be to the player
- Make distinction between ambient + world based music
Using this feedback, we completed our Design Document and we are now working on developing our tutorial level.
