So this was not originally intended to be a build of its own, but after a critical bug reported by one of my playtesters came to light I needed to make an emergency patch to fix it. As I've been working making the new content, I also go back to fix up things from before along the way, so that way it's gradually done over time and not a huge task I have to do all at once.
One of the things I've wanted to do for some time is give the Slime Warrens an overhaul. It's design is quite dated and based upon a much earlier design paradigm, and it's needed a facelift for a while. I have a longer-term plan for the entire zone closer to when the game's demo is released on Steam, but I was able to make some quick changes that really make a difference! Here are a couple of screenshots that show what some of these changes look like:
I've also added vibrations for whenever you hit an enemy with a weapon while using a controller. This small change makes the game feel a lot more immersive while you play!
