This game was created over the course of around five months of off-and-on work, and I'm really proud of how it turned out. It's my first foray into horror-style games, and while I'm not sure if this game will scare anyone, it was fun trying to create something spooky. It's been playtested already, but there may still be a few things wrong with it, so feel free to comment if you find any bugs.
It was very interesting working with such a low resolution. Originally I assumed it'd be easier to design sprites for a game that was lower-res, however it actually made certain things quite challenging. Smaller details and thin things were difficult to illustrate effectively, and there were certain ideas I had to throw completely out the window because it was so impossible to depict them. You sort of have to design your way around those challenges when you come up against them.
Anyway, please follow if you want more! Life's been busy lately, but I'm finally getting back into the swing of game development again.
