Well, that was awkward!
Patch 3.1.4 included, originally, updating the Twine version from 2.5.1 to 2.10, which also updated the SugarCube story format up to 2.37.1. (If you have no idea what those are, don't worry -- basically, we updated the tools we use to make the game.)
However, that introduced a whole herd of brand new bugs, some of which were easy fixes and some of which definitely weren't.
As a very wise person once said, "If it ain't broke, don't fix it", so for Patch 3.1.5 we have rolled back to the previous version of Twine/SugarCube, which should resolve those errors.
The actual bug fixes from 3.1.4 (typos, Samantha error, Avery, etc.) still remain fixed; those were separate and unrelated to the errors from the upgrade.
