Devlog | Build 1.0.9 Demo

Hey Everyone,

I couldn't be happier to finally share a beautiful demo of Detective Frizbee with you all! 🕵️‍♂️🐶

When I first set out to make this game, I wasn’t planning to reveal much about what I had in mind. But as development progressed, I realized—that's not how game dev works, especially for newbies like myself, and especially in today’s world.

So, I wrote out the entire plot first, then designed all the enemies. But then it hit me—I couldn’t just put out the whole game as it was. I needed a polished demo, something that truly captured the essence of Detective Frizbee. That’s when I shifted focus to polishing, and slowly, my vision started taking shape.

If you had asked me four years ago if I could create an open-world game, I would have doubted myself. But hey, that’s the nature of chasing big dreams—you constantly doubt yourself, you think of turning back, but then one day, you realize you’ve made it further than you ever imagined.

I haven’t fully made it yet—there’s still a lot of work left, marketing to do, and a long journey ahead to complete the game. But I’m incredibly proud of what I’ve put into this demo, and no one can take that away from me.
