Development Update – Game Version 1.20

Hey everyone!

It's time for another development update for our visual novel, and we're excited to share what we've been working on for the past two weeks as we finalize version 1.20, which is currently in the testing phase. This update has brought a lot of progress, both in terms of story and visuals, and we're looking forward to getting it into your hands soon.

What's New in Version 1.20?

For this version, we’ve focused on advancing the storylines of Diana and Tina, two key characters who work together in a marketing office. Both of these characters are facing major turning points in their stories, and we're excited to give you a sneak peek at the next events that we've implemented.

Event Preview:

• The Funeral In this emotional event, the MC attends a funeral with either Tina or Diana. At the funeral, a third woman catches their attention, sparking confusion. The trio has an important conversation before the service begins, but once the service starts, each of them processes the event in their own way, with confusion giving way to mourning. Afterward, they meet again, leading to a deep and mysterious discussion that leaves them questioning the situation even more. This event is pivotal for the story’s progression and is packed with emotions.

• The Conversation Tensions rise as the MC gathers both Tina and Diana to discuss a newly discovered truth—they share the same mother, making them half-sisters. What should have been a bonding moment turns into conflict, as Tina harbors bitterness from past mistreatment, while Diana doesn’t understand Tina’s perspective and continues to view her as lazy. As the MC, it’s up to you to defuse the situation and try to bring these two together. Will they be able to reconcile, or will their differences drive them further apart?

We’ve put a lot of effort into these events, and we're confident that they’ll add a deeper layer of complexity to both Tina and Diana’s characters. We’re aiming to wrap up both their stories in the next version, so stay tuned!

Additional Development Progress:

Aside from these main events, here’s what else we’ve accomplished during the sprint:

• Chapter 4 Story Dialogues: We’ve written the first set of story dialogues for Chapter 4. While these are still in the early stages, they’ll be ready for future updates.
• New Art for Chapter 3 Final Event: To add more impact to the closing of Chapter 3, we’ve created fresh, detailed artwork for the final event. We think this will really bring the moment to life.
• Artwork for Diana and Tina's Events: We’ve also completed new visuals for the two major events featuring Diana and Tina. These new art pieces will help to capture the emotional depth of these scenes.

What's Next?

With version 1.20 nearing completion, we’re focusing on wrapping up testing and addressing any remaining bugs. Once we’re confident that everything is polished and ready to go, we’ll be releasing it for all of you to enjoy.

Looking further ahead, the next version will include the conclusion of Diana and Tina’s stories, and we’ll be diving even deeper into Chapter 4 content, so there’s a lot to look forward to!
