Choose Your Own Valentine is here! (and updated)

Our new visual novel -- Choose Your Own Valentine! -- started with one simple idea.

WHAT IF YOU COULD SEND A GAME LIKE YOU CAN A GREETING CARD?

With an e-card, you can send an image or a short animation of your choice to your special one. And, of course, you can add a message just for them. You can send them a Valentine. Well, how about customising a short game and sending that to your friend? With a visual novel, you could choose art, sound, actions, and more! You can make a little story designed just for them.

Would it work?

When the Sealed With a Kiss Visual Novel Jam was announced, the game was afoot! It was time to do a proof-of-concept.

Like a card, the visual novel would be short. Not many people want a 15-hour Christmas card send to them. So, a single run-through of our story is about 2,500 words and takes about 15 minutes. The story is short, but we'll give you lots of control over name, look, sexiness level -- and you can even choose the voice actor for each role that you most enjoy.

Now, this was done in a 30-day game jam, and life often happens to people, so... it's not quite done. What we have at this point is the whole visual novel thing. The "sending like a valentine's card" is still on the way.

The dreams are big: Valentine's, Halloween, Christmas, Chinese New Year, etc. We want multiple stories, multiple art styles, .... Here you have step one.
