GameTranslate's first dev blog, hooray!

After recently continuing the development of GameTranslate, our motivation to bring out new updates has grown. An in-game translator has an incredible amount of potential and we'd hate and regret to give up on what we started a few years ago.

This leads us to the next planned update...

Real-time screen translation!

Currently, we do support real-time translation, but only from one specific area chosen by the user, and the translated text is extracted to another window. This works great for some use cases, but not for when you want an effortless translation of all text inside the game.

Therefore we're working on a new feature that removes the in-game text and replaces it with the translated text.

Here's a small sneak peek of the current progress;

We anticipate getting this to its first working iteration within the next month.
