Bug Fixes & Balance Changes
Noticed some undesirable bugs, weird balance issues, and other quirks. Since the game is still in a state where I can update the demo, here we go!
Save Files:
- On my end, this update does not void save files—yours should be safe (unless you're still on version 1.1 or earlier).
- Save File Optimization: Fixed an item trigger that was needlessly bloating the save file.
Fixes & Changes:
- Enemy AI Fix: Enemies would sometimes ignore players, even at point-blank range. This should be fixed but please report any weird behaviors!
- Bruisers: Now more aggressive to match the player’s increased speed. Also toned down their jump sound and fixed an animation bug.
- Grunt Attacks: Fixed a bug where their attacks weren’t triggering properly. Expect more pew pew lasers now.
- Enemy Attack Accuracy: Camera Heads and Grunts now attack windows are more in sync with their animations.
- Audio Fix: Player jump thruster sound is now louder for better feedback.
- Level Geometry: Fixed a weird geometry issue.
- Item Count Correction: There are actually 19 items, not 18—fixed this and updated the item page description.
