This has been buzzing through my mind for a while...Come on, you know it's not me if there aren't cringe dad jokes in the post!
Lately I've seen several messages of players that wish they had someone to talk about the game to, like in a community.
Or, for example, to share their headcanons on the game, write stories etc. and it makes me wish I could do something to have them interact... in a safe way, that is. (Aka: no sharing handles, no tagging them, nothing that can put them into unwanted or risky situations of course)
They're all on different platforms and post in different languages.
I found out about one of these messages by following a weird url on the analytics page of the game and it led me to a rabbit hole.
You have no idea of the rabbit hole I descended to and it was SO. COOL!
I was mindblown by all this creativity and love for the game, I just wish I discovered that sooner to thank them properly ;\\\\;
So far I've used the Bluesky and Twitter pages as means to share info, players' art, headcanons, etc. but I know that most devs have a Discord server and I'm wondering if it's a good solution. Or maybe something simpler, like deciding on a name for the community and heavily post it everywhere, so people can use it to recognize themselves... it would be something regarding a hive for sure!
If possible I'd like to have a way for them to share their ideas without necessarily have to pass through the filter of my accounts because I know that some players find it intimidating.
If you have experience with this I'd like to hear your suggestions, should the community of players have a name? And which one?
I'm talking something like the Sigverse (check it if you don't know it yet, it's amazing)
