troubleshooting for diesel exhaust fumes above 1400°f
So, i always pictured this mechanic character as a caricature of this friend of mine. A negative caricature. He's the most anxious person i know, keeps saying sorry and stutters - and he works on ships as a chemical engineer.
As I started writing, I realized that he might be hurt should he find out.
It kind of worries me.
The writing is writing itself. It also allows me to read a technical manual for diesel submarines, which is a nice plus. I like knowing things.
My favorite dialogue of the day was on chimpanzee vivisection, though.
