V8 is live!
Fixes:
- Fixed rewards from the element rooms found in the overworld.
- Streamlined some processes to improve game stability.
- Tons of misc bug fixes.
Tweaks:
- More visible enemies, fewer random encounters.
- Buff to enemy health.
- More cleaning up of the forest paths.
- Tweaks to woodcutting so the cursor moves faster and you always gain at least 5 wood.
- Amethyst and topaz dust are more common.
- The minimum level of enemies has been lowered in many areas.
Changes:
- There is significantly more wood in the forest.
- The new Finisher skill now has an 8 round cooldown.
- Character shrine boosts are now weighted based for the different characters. No more wasted attack boosts on your mage or agility boosts on your tank.
- Luck now affects your chance for bonus attributes when using the character shrines.
- A variety of small changes have been made to the town, such as a new NPC and changes to the flowers.
New Things:
- Nearly all herbs now have recipes to make them!
- Stimulants now have recipes.
- Berries can be used to make several new potions and drinks.
- Calvin now has 2 new skills called Divine Spark. These weak skill use MP or SP to deal a small amount of light damage.
- The Shield Wall has been given to Margaret and Dragon, allowing them to taunt enemies and draw some attacks away from the others.
- Speedy now has a huge selection of tech skills, such as grenades and daggers.
- New equipment type: Trinkets! More on them in a future post.
- The ability to move EXP between characters
- All acts of the game are now accessible.
