Conspiracy Ships is a game about disinformation and conspiracy theories. You must create a balance between disinformation and facts to survive at the lighthouse.
The game features two sections: an audio section for visually impaired players and a visual section for players who have difficulty hearing. The audio section teaches players about well-known conspiracy theories in a novel-style format. In the visual section, you must maintain a balance between spreading disinformation and providing facts to the sailors.
In the lighthouse, you have limited battery power. If you focus on spreading facts, the sailors may avoid your lighthouse because they find you boring. On the other hand, if you spread too much disinformation, you gain more battery power, but eventually, no one will trust you, and you’ll end up with lighthouse without light source.
Facts are grey color not always white' Interpretation: You should always Keep track of your progress.
The game reflects our daily lives and socialization process in a unique way. You must maintain a balance in your social life, expressing your feelings while also considering what others think about your ideas. The game captures this process effectively.
Battery
Players must monitor their battery power. If you don’t get batteries from the sailors, your lighthouse light will go dark, and no one will be able to see you.
Disinnformation indicator
In order to get batteries, you must spread some disinformation.
I used calm sea sounds for the background and bell sounds for ships approaching the lighthouse.
