This weird project abuses Ren'py quite badly to implement the battle system. The intention is to couch the battle segments in some more traditional Ren'py VN bits and pieces to tell an ongoing story. There'll also have to be some thought as to how to implement the system whereby you can adjust your team. I've got notes sketched out for unit advancement and collection.
The next step is to implement some more units and touch up the battle screen, such as with some more graphical elements to show off effects and so forth, even if they are placeholders. Pep the battle experience up a bit.
