Phase 2.4

A downloadable game for Windows, macOS, and Linux

Well, here we are, Phase 2.4 is out! 

Warning! There were some backend changes to Custom Content, which means, if you have Custom Factions, Maps, or Scenarios made before Phase 2.4, launch this game version to have them be converted correctly.

Now, as for the changes, they are below. 

AI:

  • Make "Unpredictable" AIs abandon points less
  • AIs now "reprioritize" Points with existing priorities, which decreases the amount of cases where an AI sends squads across half the map
  • If an AI has no resource points, it will favor acquiring one considerably more

Bugfixes:

  • Fix being able use the Investment ability on an Empty Base
  • As soon as the Player's Ability Preparedness is below 100%, the Ability Use Button gets disabled
  • Squads are now PROPERLY supported by Support Points!
  • Make Scenario Gamerules load properly when a Scenario is loaded for editing  (they saved before, just didn't reflect on the settings when reloaded, thus being reset)

Graphical Changes:

  • Add "+" Indicator for when a Squad is supported
  • Changed the Game Font - it is now "Miracode" (Link: https://fontesk.com/miracode-font/)
  • When the Player Changes a Point's Priority and it gets disorganized, the
  • Priority Label doesn't get darkened anymore

Quality of Life Changes:

  • If you forgot the Strength, Weakness or even Name of your Faction, you can hover over its symbol, and get the data in a tooltip
  • Added a Tip for the Above
  • You can no longer create Points inside Obstacles in the Map Editor
  • You can multiply the Background Image Scale in the Map Editor
  • Add a Tooltip showing Point Name and Type in the Map Editor
