Just in time for Demo Night.
If your attack deals enough damage to defeat the target, the forecast will show "KO!" Here's a screenshot of Torrin about to blast a demon to oblivion.
Asynchronous loading is hard. Sometimes the game would start before the images load and you couldn't see your characters. Sometimes the load would work but you'd see a "Load Failed" message. If you loaded a different file, you would be blocked from loading. I added a bug fix.
"AI for Games" by Ian Millington has some great implementations on pathfinding. I implemented some of the algorithms but I haven't added them yet. Won't be for a while.
Monday, January 20. Aeronaut Brewing Company. Come see and play several games on display, including Torrin's Trial. I'll have a bunch of ideas from the night that I'm certain will wreck whatever development plans I had in store.
