Using Bullet's continuous collision detection (CCD) the ball passing through saucers when attaining ludicrous speeds should be completely eliminated. This also allowed to flatten the saucers' collider some more, improving control over the ball. The extra punch for central hits has been toned down a little as well.

Furthermore, the jump arc is now drawn more than a single frame - increasing its visibility - and stored for drawing it during pause.
