Version 0.8.0 is out

Version 0.8.0 is released

This new version contains almost the rest of the game, it is only missing the final area and the final boss, which will be coming in the next major update. If you started playing the game in the last version, this new version should be compatible with old save files, so there is no need to start a new game (hopefully, at least).

This updates includes:

• Several new locations to visit
• New items to obtain (for example: jetpack, more powerful sword & gun, and a second shop with six new items to buy)
• A lot of new enemy types to frustrate you
• A whole bunch of bug fixes and balancing (see below)

Bug fixes and balance changes:

• Charge attack now deals slightly more damage
• Now you start with 12 bullets instead of 10, and each upgrade gives you 3, not 2, extra ammo.
• Player projectiles now have a bigger hitbox to make it easier to hit enemies.
• Turtles now will turn around when reaching the ledge instead of falling down + many other enemy bug fixes I never wrote down anywhere
• And maybe something else?

Important

I did not have too much time to playtest the new content, so some areas might be much harder than intended. There will be most likely some difficulty-related balancing done in future updates. Also note that I did not have time to play the whole game through again, I only played after the first half, so if I have accidentally broken something in the first half, please report them, so I can get them fixed as soon as possible.
