This one’s easy right? Just make levels introduce mechanics one-by-one and then iterate. Unfortunately, the idea of game economy ($) messed it up.
The UI alone took me about 2/3 of the time spent on the project. I had given up on responsiveness of any kind. Elements are set into a fixed structure like in old games. Or progtest. Lol.
It’s not something I’m proficient at. I don’t even have any equipment or software. So I did what I know how to do instead: gather requirements, break down the problem, iterate.
