The Obelisk update has been released!
Over 70 new items have been added, most of which are only available as rewards from the new Obelisk encounters that can be found in Lethe and Necropolis. Obelisks challenge your party to survive a constantly stream of monsters: will you be able to defeat them quickly enough to avoid being overwhelmed and claim your unique rewards?
In addition to the Obelisk encounters and the new items they offer, a new system governing special encounters like Obelisks and the previously existing Choir, Rift, and Merchant encounters has been added. This system distributes these encounters throughout the game, allowing them to appear on different dungeon floors each playthrough while maintaining the correct balance between types.
Finally, as always, several bug fixes and other small improvements and balance adjustments have been made. You can learn more about these in the change log included with the downloads.
