Improved installation guidelines

If you're experiencing issues launching the game on Mac or Windows, it may be due to the game files being flagged as from an unknown developer. 

Mac might not open an app from an unknown developer directly. To open a Mac app from an unknown developer, follow those steps: 

1. On your Mac, choose Apple menu > System Settings, then click Privacy & Security in the sidebar. (You may need to scroll down.) ...
2. Go to Security, then click Open.
3. Click Open Anyway. ...
4. Enter your login password, then click OK.

Windows also might flag apps from unknown developers.  If you get the blue pop-up "Windows protected your PC", click on "More information" and "run anyways". 

Windows 11 issues:
Windows 11 sometimes has issues opening Renpy files. This might be a solution: The zip file containing the game should be Extracted and launched in: Program Files (✖️86) folder in windows (C:) drive
