CHANGES
- Ship Scaling: Ships, weapons, and projectiles have been scaled up by 30x to improve visibility at a distance and make hitting targets with projectiles more intuitive.
- AI Collision Avoidance: AI ships now feature improved collision avoidance, actively steering to avoid obstacles and other objects in space.
- Economy Window: Introduced a comprehensive economy interface that lists all wares available in the galaxy, along with stations buying/selling them, their prices, and key economic statistics.
- Waypoint System: Added a new waypoint system with markers in the overview and in-space indicators. These include icons and a destination tracker conveniently placed in the top-left corner near the overview window.
- Destination Button: The Set Destination button in the economy window now assigns the selected station as your destination waypoint, streamlining navigation.
BUG FIXES
- Inventory Drag-and-Drop: Resolved an issue with dragging and dropping items between inventory windows. The functionality now works as intended.
- Economy Supply Calculation: Fixed a bug where reserved cargo was being incorrectly counted as supply. Supply is now accurately calculated based on the current contents of station cargo holds.
- Empty Destination List Issue: Fixed a bug where the Set Destination button appeared in the economy window even when no stations were listed.
TODO
- Trend Graph: Implement functionality for the Trend Graph button in the economy market window.
- Remote Purchases: Add the ability to remotely purchase wares directly from the economy market window.
- Asset Management: Develop an interface to view and manage all assets owned by the player.
- Window Minimization: Add functionality to minimize interface windows for better screen management.
- Docked Buy/Sell Interface: Introduce a buy/sell interface for trading while docked at stations.
- Combat Visuals: Add visual effects for ship impacts when hit by projectiles and implement destruction mechanics when a ship’s hull reaches zero.
- Ship Status Indicators: Display real-time status indicators in space for damaged ships.
