YO, wats up. been work hard on the pro version of the 2D Side Scroller . . .And I finally got collisions to work with my template.
Holy, it was so annoying haha it would cause jittering or id be offset in a bad bad way. BUT its workin good now so thats wats up.
I'll be making a simple scene (mini demo?) and post the video on Youtube (will post the link in a new post.) The demo wil be playable to those that purchase the Pro Template AND a reminder that this pro version will have
- Parallax Scroling
- Vertical Movement
- Shifting Layers (going infront and behind entities)
- Dynamic Collision
- Object Fade (when behind entity, entity will become see thru, making player visable)
- Controller Support/Change Keybinding Menu (*this ones a maybe)
- AND MORE (probably will add more in updates)
This will be the base template for story/adventure games
In the future I'm thinking of making some other templates that are smaller and can work with the pro template.
e.g. A game with a story based explore system but has a run and gun section, or platforming section, etc.
Ideas for future templates off the top of my head are
- Platformer Template
- Beat em Up Template
- Fighting Game Template
- Run and Gun Template
SO yep, im working working workin. Also once the pro version template is done I'll most likely start my main project and make the other templates as side projects.
