I’ve just released a small update for GAP (Generic Atlas Packer) with a couple of fixes that I think you’ll appreciate.
Drag and Drop Now Works Again! In the previous version, there was an issue where the drag-and-drop feature for adding images wasn't functioning as expected, despite it being a feature for quite some time. During some refactoring work, I encountered a problem and, unfortunately, had to disable it temporarily. But the good news is that I’ve now fixed it! 🎉 So, for those of you who prefer dragging images over using the file dialog, the feature is back in action. Enjoy! 🖼️
Image Previews & File Order Update For those who use GAP regularly, you might have noticed that image previews in the resource tree were being squished into a square, losing their aspect ratio. While this didn't affect functionality, it definitely didn’t look great. I’ve addressed this, and now the previews look much more natural and proportional. Additionally, I’ve updated resource tree item. The preview now comes before the image filename, allowing everything to fit more neatly in the frame.
While these fixes might not seem enormous, every little improvement helps make GAP a better tool for all of you. Thanks for your continued support and feedback! 🙏
