Where are the updates?

Hello Everyone,

This is a message I never wanted to write. Unfortunately, I have to announce that "TORD" (The Ominous Red Door) is facing significant development challenges.

"TORD" has been a passion project of mine—something I’ve dreamed of working on for years. For a long time, I lacked the knowledge to bring it to life, but as I began learning game development, I poured everything I had into it. Development officially began nearly two years ago, and during the first year, things were progressing well.

But over time, challenges started piling up:

1. Lack of Ideas – Creative roadblocks slowed progress.
2. Repetitive Rooms – Levels started feeling redundant.
3. Messy Workflow – The project became difficult to manage.
4. CPU/Shading Problems – My hardware has always been a limitation.

The CPU/shading issues, in particular, have been a persistent obstacle. My computer isn’t the most powerful, and running larger projects like "TORD" often causes my system to freeze. It’s frustrating because I want to take this project further and make it bigger and better, but my current setup simply can’t handle it anymore.

So, for now, I’ve made the difficult decision to shelve "TORD" until I can afford better equipment to continue development.
