Frog Pond - v1.0.2 Patch

hello!! thank you for the wait! 🙇‍♀️ i've been busy this month due to juggling work outside the game + preparing for the holidays (which, by the way, i hope you guys are having a great one)!

this small patch to address UI and Pond scaling and monitor switching!

you can now access these in the Settings panel:

How to apply the new patch

• Download the .zip file and run the new Frog Pond executable! You can delete the older one. It should still be able to use your existing save data without having to do anything.
• Just to be safe, you can create a back-up of your save files by copying all .save files from the following folder:

   c:\Users\(your PC)\App Data\LocalLow\shar\Frog Pond\

• If by any chance you lose your save files, you can copy and paste your back-up back in the folder above to regain it :) but if your save file really doesn't work with the new patch contact me and I'll try to figure out what went wrong!
  • That being said, I'm looking into making a back-up save feature somewhere down the line

Bug Fixes

• Fixed Always On Top setting breaking every time monitor is switched (thank you Carlos)
• Pond now stays within bounds of monitor

• Adjusted shiny stone generation rate
• Randomize seconds on spawn/leave time

Graphics and UI

• Additional settings Graphics Tab
• Added monitor switch button
• Added UI and Pond Resizing
• Added shiny stone indicator on frogs
• Actively dragged UI now goes to top
• Pressing ESC now closes active window
• Changed settings dot to checkmark for better readability
• Updated help section typo

Known Issues

• Volume slider handle gets stuck at position 0, only fixed by pressing on the slider outside the handle

i'll be doing a UI overhaul! the UI is actually just Unity's basic UI & font and i didn't have time to change it before release, so i'd love to polish it ASAP as a quick update.

for updates after this, i'm planning all the little features out in a roadmap and i'll share it once i think it's more or less solid :)

additionally!!! thank you for 39k+ downloads!!! wow what the freak!!! i didn't really expect so many people to enjoy the game! i was honestly thinking the downloads would cap at around 1k! it makes me so happy when i see people show their pond setups on social media, i love seeing them!! thank you!!! 💗🌼

working hard to bring this to Steam  eventually so i can send you all little updates and holiday stuff without having to do these manual patches -- i spent a chunk of the very kind donations to get Steamworks up and running for this game! it'll still be free once i've set it up hehe, i hope you get to enjoy it there, too. also my brain is so jostled by this having not programmed in a while LOL helpp i havent used anything from my degree in so long
