When I was adding a new fighter, I was thinking of giving him actual voice lines. But then I realized that I ALSO have the ability to port all the voice tickets from PSO2 if I wanted, so, then came the idea to replace monster screeches with actual voice lines! A friend of mine had given me a whole list of voice tickets that aimed for that “manly” or gruff personality, so I took some creative liberty to check out which voice tickets would fit for each fighter, then port away!
The end result? The monster fighters definitely have more charm and personality. I personally love it!
Here is the list of Voice tickets used, and VA cited that did the work.
※To be clear, these are NOT actual original VA talent I hired. They are simply voice clip assets ported from PSO2.
After thoughtful consideration of adding new fighters to the roster, due to high requests for smaller characters, the first character I added to this wave of small fighters is Wulfer from PSO2:NGS! It feels a bit surreal to see him in Oracle, but he kicks ass just like how he does in NGS, except better, because his playstyle is almost 1:1 to the Knuckles weapon from PSO2!
If you played Knuckles back then as a Fighter main, you will surely love playing as this guy. He even has the iconic Backhand Smash as part of his moveset!
Though, there is a trade-off. Despite his ability to pummel his opponents, his damage dealt is relatively low, so make sure you keep up that momentum! He’s also quite light, and very prone to incoming attacks, similar to Anga.
A third stage from Omega has appeared, and it’s strikingly familiar…
Enjoy epic battles accompanied by this dramatic backdrop, with Masquerade’s battle theme!
