This week
we worked on designing the outline for the game’s User Interface (UI). This process involved carefully planning the layout and functionality of the UI elements to ensure they align with the game's theme and provide a seamless player experience. The design outlines include core components such as menus, HUD (Heads-Up Display), inventory screens, and interaction prompts. Our goal is to create a UI that is not only visually appealing but also intuitive and easy to navigate, allowing players to fully immerse themselves in the game without unnecessary distractions. By establishing this outline, we’ve laid a solid foundation for the UI’s development and eventual implementation.
In addition, we also created a rough outline for the blocking level. This step focused on mapping out the general structure and layout of the game levels, serving as a blueprint for future development. The blocking level outlines define the placement of key elements such as terrain, pathways, obstacles, and interactive zones.
