#Update
Welcome to the official changelog! Here I'll share a bit of info on the project, and use this as a changelog! Please comment if you have any suggestions, I'll add them happily.
Those who were active in Scratch around a year ago might recognize the username Joshisaurio. Yes, that is me. I started making games around 4 years ago, and I've been doing that ever since. I managed to make a popular project, Cuber's Journey, which had the purpose of being as unique as possible (Scratch had a generic project problem at the time). After a while, I had enough knowledge to begin to try to leach the limits of Scratch, getting to the point of participating in OS Wars, a competition where a group of teammates build an OS using Scratch. After this, I started to get bored of it and began looking for other engines. I decided to try Gamemaker, Godot, and UE5. I tried Gamemaker first, which I liked, but it didn't really quite convince me. Next, I tried Godot and I loved it. I learnt it by reading the docs and picked it up quickly, and ended up using it for this project. I haven't finished learning UE5 yet though, but once I learn it, expect 3d games from me in the future!
I begun this project a couple of months ago. I actually had a big break during vacations and the end of the year due to school, but with winter vacation approaching I might be able to finish it this year with your feedback and suggestions! I initially just wanted to make a simple shooter as a test for godot, and tried using boids at first, but ended up using tanks at the end. I also thought it would be more unique as there are already a few shooter games that use the boid concept. I developed the AI and even though it had erratic movement, I liked it. I also liked the design of the game in general so I ended up deciding to finish this project. I added more tanks, menus, and am currently working on adding new gamemodes, polishing the menus, and actually making a proper map.
I wanted to write more here, but I don't really know what so I'll add an initial features list
The first update might release in like a week (or less), with some optimization and graphical improvements. Stay tuned!
