Major Update Announcement for Flagged for Victory!

We’re thrilled to announce the release of a major update for Flagged for Victory! This update is packed with new features, quality-of-life improvements, and refined gameplay mechanics that take the experience to the next level. And for the foreseeable future this will be final update to the game but life is as such we never know.

Here’s everything that’s new:

Level Selection is Here!

You can now revisit your favorite puzzles or skip ahead to unlocked levels with the new Level Selection Menu. This long-awaited feature that we wanted to add for the longest time, it lets you navigate through levels with ease and adds flexibility to how you enjoy the game.

Improved UI and Usability

We’ve made significant updates to the game’s user interface to enhance accessibility and functionality:

• The Pause Button has been moved from Left Shift to Esc, making it more intuitive and consistent with player expectations.
• Streamlined button layouts and clearer visual cues for objectives and progress.
• Polished transitions between scenes to maintain immersion and flow.

Gameplay Enhancements

• Breakable Blocks Now Respawn- Resetting a level now restores breakable blocks to their original state, ensuring every restart feels fresh and fair.
• New sprite for breakable blocks and reworked level 15
• Updated Visuals for Gravity Flipper.
• Fine-tuned auditory interactions and sound effects for a better experience. 
• Minor bug fixes and performance optimizations to keep everything running smoothly.

What’s Next?

This update is a major milestone, but we’re stopping here! As always, your feedback is appreciated  and welcomed. We’re excited to continue improving and adding new content based on your suggestions.

Final Thoughts

Looking back on this journey, I can confidently say this was one of the best teams I’ve ever had the privilege to work with. The level of competence, creativity, and collaboration displayed by everyone involved made this project not only successful but genuinely enjoyable.

What set this group apart wasn’t just individual talent—it was our ability to improve constantly and understand each other’s strengths. We adapted to challenges, listened to feedback, and refined our work at every step. This journey was more than just creating a game; it was about growth, teamwork, and achieving a shared vision.

Every discussion, every playtest, and every line of code reflected our commitment to delivering something we could all be proud of. It’s rare to find a group where the synergy is so strong, and I feel incredibly fortunate to have been part of this.
