Hey all, happy to say the demo has returned and it's better than ever (though still not quite perfect). You can download and check out anywhere from 10-30 minutes of the gameplay I've been working on. Since you're getting in at the pre-alpha stage, there's going to be some rough edges here and there, so don't expect it to go for *too long* before you spot a bug.
As for what I've been doing, here's the list:
-Plenty of art touchups, revamps, redraws, etc
-tightened combat
-tightened room detection
-colony bounds torch network (you'll see- its not that complicated)
-pathfinding revamp
-RAIDS are now functional (and will completely wreck you if you're unprepared)
- split the town board into banner and town board
- tutorial is totally new, more polished and in depth
-increased RMB click and hold transparency because it was hard to see through the trees
-did many, many playtests of the first 5-10 minutes to make sure we're good to go for the demo
-as ever, 80% of the work I've done is all behind the scenes stuff you're never going to notice or care about. But trust me, it's important :)
Thanks to everyone following the project and special thanks to my first donor! Solo game development is a long and often fairly expensive process, so I appreciate all the help given.
PS: Steam page will be up very soon- they denied me for my picture resolutions, so I've resubmitted and we're back to waiting
