#Update #Roadmap
Iris has now expanded her arsenal after testing with the shots from the previous build!
This update taking a week was definitely not what I expected. But definitely makes sense in hindsight. There was IRL stuff and I was also stuck on how I wanted to implement things a couple of times. Even with progress with the actual weapons there was just so much else to do to completely integrate everything in a flexible and somewhat easy to build upon way. The UI was especially painful due to myself not really being of the creative type.
The weapon select screen is pretty barebones right now, not even equipped with prompts to open or close the menu, just popping up when walking over the weapon area in the resting stage. And exiting the menu by simply walking away. Still, it took a really long time as coming to Godot from Unity was a mixup in how anchors and positioning work. I am proud of what I have so far though! Keeping in mind this most probably will only stay as a temporary option while I get more and more systems working.
Speaking of systems. On the backend, I've got more work done on making upgrades working. It currently can only cover basic stats like health and damage but I want to expand on it further as I go along. Still, progress is looking really good!
As for what's on the horizon, aka the Road Map.
