The Second Circle is... Reanimated! (v3.0 is out!)

Bringing back the Wakefield Manse

The Second Circle was the third TTRPG module I wrote.

Lately, I'd been thinking about the poor, benighted souls in the lost Circle of Ash and Iron... and I thought I could do a little better by them. I've learned a few tricks as a gamemaster and as a games writer in the last year, and I thought I could bring this Haunted House story back to some terrible facsimile of life!

If you haven't played in a while or want to take a new Circle of investigators to meet the Master of the Manse, I'd recommend you grab a (free!) copy of the Second Circle (Reanimated).

The Updates

A few notable updates to the haunted Wakefield Manse:

• More rooms: We increased the number of rooms from 6 to 12, and included random encounter tables so that you can truly lose yourself in the twisted halls of the Wakefield Manse!
• More characters: When we originally released this investigation, several of the characters were named, but that was about it. Now the Circle of Ash and Iron is a fully realized cast of interesting characters and sympathetic victims!
• More depth: At a few pivotal moments during the investigation, we offer you newly revamped mechanics - for instance, there are now gameplay mechanics for both ghostly possession as well as the final showdown with the Master of the Manse!

We've also had a few requests that we include graphics separately, for easy upload into digital tabletop programs. Those graphics are included in the attached ZIP file!

If you were hoping for a handmade version with zero AI content, we've included that, too - just download the "Handmade Version" PDF where all AI content is replaced with stock art placeholders.
