#intro
Hi all! Trying to see if I can started logging my work in some respect. I always want to, but skip it then regret it afterwards.
Anyway, my friend and I created and submitted an entry for the 2024 js13k jam this year. This is our first time doing this jam (this year was the 13th anniversary, so it was a bit of a celebration!) and it was an amazing experience all around. We just learned yesterday that a jam with one of the engines developed for js13k use was having its own jam, and it started not long ago, on November 11th!
So last night I downloaded LittleJS, read over a few documents, then did the BreakOut tutorial that was written up by the engine author, KilledByAPixel
Now we are beginning a prototype of our initial idea with the theme from the LittleJS jam, Animals. We are going to see about making a tower defense style game utilizing animals on the attacking and defense side, with the resource to be defended being Noah's Ark itself!
