Last month, I participated in a Game Jam and made my very first game called Churning Caves. I decided I'd continue working on it in my spare time, and I'm proud to say - I did. I haven't added too many things yet, but I added a couple of features I wanted to add since the beginning of making the game, and I fixed some bugs in the version made from the game jam.
I've added an entirely new map, quite bigger than the one you start on, and I've added a "save" system of sorts, as well as made the world turn smoothly, so as to not disorient one completely.
I still have a bug I haven't been able to fix, which is that sometimes, when turning the world around, the player will take damage, as though an enemy just landed on and attacked the player, even though the nearest enemy is quite far away. I'll continue on working out how to fix this, so bear with me))
For the next update, I plan on adding yet another map, maybe a new creature (most likely), and will work on figuring out some simple sound effects and background music to make the experience a little more pleasant and less dull.
If you have any notes or tips for my game, you're more than welcome to make a comment here or on the game page and let me know your thoughts about it.
Go try out the game here and consider following me to keep track of when new updates are made
