This is the first time I've written a devlog since my blogger days but I thought I'd write a bit about the game here since it's the first major release to the public. Untrust Us is a simple idea, combine two of my favorite games from the 90s, Quake and Harvest Moon. So how will the game accomplish this? The player will plant and harvest crops during the day and then once a week and on special events, Quake style levels open up to the player. The crops you grow and items you buy in town will allow you craft weapons and items that help during these FPS portions.
Pre Alpha 0.4.1 is the first iteration of the first combat portion plus a small taste of what I think a farming section will be. Currently the health and money you earn will transition through the levels through the use of static variables. I thought I'd publish this build as there's a small gameplay loop present currently.
