  • Apocalypse: Winning a run with a character now unlocks the next Apocalypse level for that character. Each Apocalypse level makes the game more difficult. You can choose which Apocalypse level you want to play at the beginning of the run. Win a run to unlock Apocalypse 1.
  • Balancing changes to enemies. Overall, Apocalypse 0 should be easier than the old balancing, higher Apocalypse levels are more challenging.
  • New enemy: Vampire Spawn
  • Bug fixes
    • Shadow Step should now work correctly, even if the next card played is not an attack.
    • During a run, the same encounter should not usually be encountered twice. This should now also work across Chapters (e.g. if you fight Marrow Fiend in Chapter 1, you should be less likely to encounter it in Chapter 2).
    • Rerolling the "Choose 1 of 3 cards" reward at the beginning of the game should no longer produce an error.
    • Avenging Shadow's damage should now be unaffected by status effects.
    • Various minor bug fixes and technical improvements
