"Endings" guide!

Hello!
Thank you again for playing ambuscade.
To help you find everything I’ve provided a guide.
The first guide contains basic tips/hints if you still want to maintain the mystery, while the second guide will give you a step by step guide of what options to choose.
If you were curious about the soft endings, spoilers are at the bottom of this devlog.
#1 Common route bad ending (Soft ending)
- This ending requires you to make some two bad, vocal choices before the second day. If you’re on the second day and Idris kicks Remy out of the cafe you’ve missed the event trigger for this bad ending.
#2 “Their” ending
- The first hint to reach this ending is to choose options that maintain boundaries and be a little snidey at times. The second is to be a good house guest.
#3 Asa’s route bad ending (Soft ending)
- To reach this ending, look for dialogue options that may appear people pleasing. The second hint is to also be a good house guest.
#4 The true ending
- To reach the true ending of this prologue, you have to do the opposite of the second hint in endings #2 and #3. If you are struggling with this ending, try to choose an option before Asa leaves that will give you with more time.
#1 Common route bad ending (Soft ending)
Any options you make before the night doesn't matter in this ending. When the night sequence begins pick the following:
1. Question them
2. "Demand you around..?"
That's all! Any choices after this also don't matter for this ending.
#2 "their" ending
Any choices that put down a boundary or let you be rude. Additionally to reach this ending do not explore the house.
The following important choices to make:
1. Say "No" to Remy's assessment of you in the park
2. "Continue to act asleep" in the intruder sequence
3. "Nod along."
4. "Decline."
5. "Call it out" & "Were not friends" on Remy's cafe excursion
6. Decline remy's drink offer
7. "Disregard him" When Asa asks about your apartment
8. "Don't respond" To Asa's messages.
9. "That's not cool"
10. "Guitar"
11. "Wait for Asa" x2
12. "I don't want to snoop."
13. Decline Remy's invite
Asa's route bad ending (Soft ending)
Any choices that are the opposite to the above & don't explore the house.
1. "Agree" to Remy's assesment of you
2. "Anxiety inducing"
3. "Continue to act asleep"
4. "Correct Asa's story"
5. "Agree"
6. "Comfort Asa"
7. "Accept it" when remy gives you a nickname
8. "yes" risk the drink
9. "Be truthful" to Asa
10. "Thank him"
11. "That's okay"
12. "Bass"
13. "Wait for Asa" x2
14. "I dont want to snoop"
15. "Maybe?"
#4 The true ending
For this ending you can make any choice up to the house sequences - however the search will be slightly different depending on if you've reached a certain soft ending before.
House sequences:
1. Chinese
2. Bathroom: Check the cabinets, Take some of the pills.
3. Asa's room: Search the desk, drawers, bed.
4. Flick to the latest page in Asa's diary
(If you didn't find the soft ending, continue searching till you've ran out of time)
5. Try password, enter "Sunflower"
6. Open Notes
7. Add the pill.
8. Reach out for the smaller cup
9. Attempt code
