Like the Ground below, it's been a long time in the making

Become Dirt's demo is now available! Before you waste any more time reading this, you should download it and check it out - a lot has changed since the teaser build we released all those months ago and there's a lot more of the game's features, story, and environment here than you've ever seen before!

Back at the end of last year, we were hoping to get the Become Dirt demo released by December or January 2024 at the latest. Then, as has happened to many people across the games and tech industries, a lot of our team members got laid off and major life changes came for the rest of us. We weren't able to keep up the development pace we had in the early days of working on Dirt, so it's taken us longer than we'd like to get this demo build to you. Still, it takes time to make dirt, and we hope you will find the results enriching and fun to knead between your hands - just like real dirt!
