Howdy hey!
Another month, another devlog. I'm happy to say I was able to code in a fun feature for Take Two this month! Take a look:
This entire screenshot is just a result of me playtesting and experimenting, so it's all placeholder! Even the featured conversation, though I may find a way to fit it into the final game somehow. Koen does not want to be near his friends coworkers even in a virtual space.
But yeah! Texting conversations!!! I can't wait to give you guys opportunities to bug Koen, send memes to Phillip, or gush over that one cute cat you saw with Sirius. And of course, getting food pics from Camille and A-grade mom advice from Edna!
In my previous devlog, I mentioned a Monstrous Desires demo, but the deadline has been pushed back to give us more room to refine and polish. If all goes well, you guys can play it on November 10th.
And that's it for this month! With MD Jam almost nearing its end, I plan to redirect my attention back to Take Two afterward. My main focus is to polish up the background art and write the common route, though touching up on sprites is very tempting at the moment.
