This is an update made after game jam submission deadline fixing worst bugs and adding some needed features that didn’t make it before the deadline
Fixed bugs and issues:
- Primary attack can be spammed
- Secondary attack and healing don’t honour their respective cooldowns
- Health bar sometimes doesn’t start fully filled and it might visually look as if the monster gained health from enemy attack
New features:
- Added number popups with damage/heal amount (dopamine numbers)
- Added simple animation when attacking
- Added clear button to Monster maker scene to get rid of all placed monster parts
- Added monster names in the arena
- Added monster part categories (Heads, Arms, Bodies, Legs, Tails) in the form of tabs
- Added type text under every placed part in the monster maker GUI
Known issues:
- After winning against an enemy monster UI monster showcase still shows the last player’s monster, but it needs to be manually rebuilt
- Enemy health bar sometimes jumps more than it should
