SalmonA downloadable game for Windows and macOS
Development Team
- Added prototype fisherman mechanic
- Learned the specifcs of Unity's Cg Shader Lang
- Made a basic water shader
- Improvements to directional spline generation
- Implemented eagle swooping down at regular intervals to catch fish out of water
- Made stealth mechanic affect when fish can be caught
- Revamped game UI
- Implemented Pause menu
- Revised the placement of respawn points
- Fixed audio issue where all bears growl together when game starts
- Fixed audio issue where the fish swimming sound is too loud
Upcoming Goals:
- Continue to work on spline generation
- Further improve game UI (button mapping, volume settings, etc.)
Audio Team
- SFX for Alpha Presentation (Bear Swipe + Hit, Osprey Swipe, Salmon jumping + splashing, etc) uploaded to GitHub, ready to be implemented in-engine
Upcoming Goals:
- Audio Team meeting to discuss coherent instrumentation and style for different music tracks
Art Team
- Finished all the props' texture on land in stage 3(with texture)
- Unwraped bear’s UV
- Finished salmon's rigging
- Working on bear's rigging
- Working on salmon's texture

- Finish salmon animation
- Finish bear's animation
- Finish Osprey's character sheet
- Started working on UI
