Progress Update # 5 for v0.05

Hey y'all! Happy Friday!

I have some good news and some bad news for y'all... The good news was, this week was very productive! Here is what I got done:

• 2 Character models (Prom Connie, and Fat Meg with prom dress)
• 1 Background (Connie house living room)
• 1 Scene (Connie pre prom posing scene) - This is not entirely finished, but more on that in a bit

So the bad news. Unfortunately, while working on the Connie scene, my graphics card completely crapped out and is now closing my art software every three minutes. I am still trying to find out why this is happening, but my hope is that I can resolve the issue as soon as possible. I don't really like leaving work unfinished, so my hope is that I will be able to finish the first connie scene as soon as I can, and move onto her other scenes as soon as possible! I am not too sure when I can get things up and running again, but I have goal set for myself to be resolved with all these issues and the connie scene by the end of the weekend. That way I don't get too behind on all the other scenes.

As an update from last week, I did decide to give Meg a break (after finishing her last scene of course), and I plan on revisiting if I really need to do any more art for her later on. I am experimenting a little with Connie right now, and seeing how to structure her as a character. In the show she has always been a thinner girl, so I thought I would stray away from my usual habit of making everyone thicc, and see if I can stay more lore accurate for her. So, please let me know what you think! I tried to keep her as close to the show as I could in terms of body type, but as a result I think she will end up being much more petite than the other women so far.

So here is what is left to do:

• Backgrounds:
  • Connie house background
  • James Woods high locker room
• Characters
  • Lois Prom Dress Variation
    • This I will most likely tackle once I start Lois's scenes for this route
  • Stu Prom Tux Variation
  • Connie's parents
    • This admittedly came to my mind when creating the background for the D'Amico house living room, as I was wondering whether there should be a scene with Connie's parents as well.

Beyond this I don't anticipate any other adhoc art that I will have to work on, and from here on out there will be 2 more Connie scenes, and 2-3 more Lois Scenes for the artwork. We are getting close to the halfway mark for the art complete, and should be there within a week or two if I keep up the pace.
