SalmonA downloadable game for Windows and macOS
Development Team
- Integrated NPCs into main scene
- Allowed bears to target and attack NPCs, providing a distraction for player
- Implemented random spawning of schools of NPC fish at checkpoints
- Worked on aesthetic of spline generated river, mainly rivers edge generation
- Also programatic object placement such as tree rocks
- Interpolated eagle grabbing action to make it smoother
- Made trees also transparent-able (for not blocking camera), supported assets with multiple materials
- Fixed eagle's spawn behaviour after killing the fish
- Fixed the issue where swimming forward is always full speed with controller
Upcoming Goals:
- Finish spline generated river and integrate into main scene
- Follow linear gameplay design - use spline to connect tiled sections
Audio Team
- Fixed looping issues on Level 2 music track + underwater ambience track
- All members added to GitHub
- Previously completed rough tracks added to GitHub
Upcoming Goals:
- Finish looping music tracks for Stage 1 + 2 of Level 3
- Update instrumentation for Level 2 music track
- Implementing audio tracks in Unity
Art Team
- Finished most of the props' texture on land in stage 3
- Finished bear’s modelling
- Working on bear's revision
- Working on bear's animation
- Working on salmon's animation
Upcoming Goals:
- Finish salmon animation
- Finish bear's animation
- Finish all the model in stage 3 (with texture)
